The AFL and NFL championship graphics were unavailable. The AFC and NFC championship graphics were used. At that time the AFC and NFC were known as the AFL and NFL since the two leagues hadn't merged yet.

Team Graphic Discrepancies
The Kansas City Chiefs were known as the Dallas Texans when they played in the 1962 AFL Championship game. The team logo for the Dallas Texans was unavailable. Because the Dallas Texans later became the Kansas City Chiefs, the Kansas City Chiefs logo was used.


The Houston Oilers would later become the Tennessee Oilers and then later become the Tennessee Titans. Because the team logo for the Houston Oilers was available, that team logo was used regardless of the future franchise changes.
The Washington Redskins, due to politically correct pressure, would change their name from Redskins to the Washington Football Team. Because the team logo for the Washington Redskins was available, that team logo was used regardless of the future franchise changes.
